    Senator Jackson received a 100% score from Planned Parenthood's 2017 Legislative Scorecard. The Scorecard provides the public with information on how state legislators voted on issues that impact reproductive health, women's health and rights, sexual health education, and access to affordable and quality health care.   • Jackson Takes Aerial Tour of Mudslide Devastation

    Senator Jackson joined members of the California National Guard, CalOES, the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office and the California Highway Patrol for an aerial tour of the devastated areas of Montecito and surrounding communities in Santa Barbara County as a result of recent mudslides.

  • Jackson Holds First Hearing on Sexual Harassment

    State Senator Hannah-Beth Jackson, chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee and the Senate Select Committee on Women, Work and Families, held the first of a series of hearings examining California's legal standards and key legal questions surrounding sexual harassment. The hearing titled “Justice for Victims: Re-examining California’s Legal Standards for Sexual Harassment" can be watched here.

    Senator Jackson joins colleagues and members of the California Legislative Women's Caucus to stand in solidarity with the brave women of Hollywood who are standing up to sexual harassment.

  • Jackson visits newly-opened Ventura Assistance Center

    The Ventura Assistance Center opened as a ONE-STOP resource center for residents affected by the Thomas Fire. Representatives from the city, county, state and federal agencies, as well as non-profit organizations are there to help people get back on their feet.   • Jackson joins Governor Jerry Brown to tour Thomas Fire devastation

    Sen. Hannah-Beth Jackson joins Gov. Jerry Brown through a tour of Ventura County's most devastated areas caused by the Thomas Fire. A press conference was held detailing the latest reaction from elected officials as well as ongoing efforts by fire fighters and other first-responders, local, state and federal personnel.
