Power Shut-Offs Update

I am honored to serve as your State Senator for Senate District 19. For the last four years, I had the pleasure of serving as the Assemblymember of Assembly District 37; and as your newly elected representative, I look forward to continuing being a champion for Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties in our state Legislature.

My office and I are aware of the Southern California Edison power shut-offs. We are aware that in some cases, power shut-offs lasted more than 24 hours. During these challenging times, I understand households cannot spare throwing away groceries, having uncharged medical equipment, and lack of technology.

We have reached out to SoCal Edison representatives in Sacramento and locally and have been informed power has been restored. We will continue working with them to ensure they provide more accurate information and notifications to consumers on when power shut-offs will take place and their duration.

If your power has not been restored please contact SoCal Edison at 1-800-611-1911.

We are in turbulent times, and I would like to reassure you that my office and I are committed to serving you and connecting you with the necessary resources.

You can always contact my office through our online form or by calling the following offices:
