On Wednesday, Jackson Will Visit Camarillo Springs Neighborhood Devastated by Mudslides

December 16, 2014

CAMARILLO – Tomorrow, State Senator Hannah-Beth Jackson (D-Santa Barbara) will tour the Camarillo Springs neighborhood devastated by storms and recent mudslides.
“I want to be able to see the area first-hand and get a better sense of what these residents are dealing with,” Jackson said. “Should there be a need for additional resources to assist these folks and the clean-up effort, I want to be able to go back to Sacramento with the knowledge I need to be the best advocate I can for them.”
Jackson will tour the neighborhood with Barbara Williams, president of the Camarillo Springs Homeowners Association, as well as officials with the City of Camarillo. Members of the media are invited to join the tour but are asked to please RSVP in advance.

If additional rain creates dangerous conditions for tomorrow, the tour may be rescheduled, so please confirm with Jackson’s office in the morning.
